Main Street Sharrows
Main Street has been the focus of revitalization and livability improvements. It is the only north-south street proposed to have continuous bike facilities from Markham to Roosevelt, making it arguably the most important north-south corridor in the downtown area (Fig. 1). The section from 7th St. to Markham is on the Master Bike Plan to get sharrows, but they have not yet been installed. This north-south corridor is critical for the success of our bike share program and critical for the utility of the proposed Midline.
