Professional Development

Educational experiences at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History are not only for children.  Educational programs are available for teachers to experience, along with guided tours, to help in their professional development.

MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is a certified Arkansas Department of Education professional development provider.

Teachers can earn professional development credit for attending an hour-long tour or program at the site. In the summer, the museum holds a professional development workshop for teachers. Information for this year’s workshop will be posted closer to the date.
