L. Lamor WilliamsLITTLE ROCK (Dec. 6, 2017) – As the cold weather season takes hold, many residents will be left with more yard debris than usual. As a result, yard waste pickup in Little Rock is running a few days behind schedule, with crews working to get caught up.
“During this time of year, our Public Works crews go from picking up 350 tons of yard waste per week to more than 800 tons per week,” said Public Works Director Jon Honeywell. “It will be January before crews can get caught up, but they are working hard to serve our citizens.”
At this time, residents do not need to contact 311 with missed yard waste requests. As long as the yard waste is placed curbside it will be collected as quickly as possible.
