Jennifer Godwin | (o) 501 371 4421 | (c) 501 804 4822LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 25, 2016) – Yard waste pickup in Little Rock is running a few days behind schedule, with additional crews working to get caught up after the storms, according to the Public Works Department.
Yard waste collection that was to be picked up last Wednesday was starting to be picked up today. Even with the extra hands, the amount of storm debris that must be picked along with regular yard waste has slowed how many collections can be completed in a workday.
It is estimated that it will take the rest of this week to get caught up, and early August before Solid Waste crews return to regular routes and schedules.
At this time, residents are advised to not contact 311 with storm debris requests. As long as the debris is placed curbside with yard waste, it will be collected.
