LITTLE ROCK – The City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s West Central Community Center is inviting student artists to submit works for the Art in the Park youth art contest.

Cash and other prizes will be awarded in three divisions: Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Interested students may pick up submission forms at the community center, 4521 John Barrow Road. Artwork must be submitted by April 29, 2022.

Judging will take place May 2-4, 2022, and a Public Art Walk of all submissions will take place on May 5 from 4:30-8:30 p.m.

Winners will be announced at the Youth Art Week reception featuring demonstrations by Ballet Arkansas. The reception will be held at 10 a.m. on May 7 at the West Central Community Center. Contestants must be present to win.
