UPDATE: The City of Little Rock Public Works Department is resuming yard waste collection this afternoon, following a one-day suspension of the service. Crews will begin collecting yard waste in areas affected by Wednesday's delay and will work through the weekend to ensure coverage of all routes. Yard waste pickup schedules will resume as normal on Monday.
The Public Works Department had temporarily suspended yard waste collection to ensure that all garbage routes operated as scheduled. The City of Little Rock appreciates residents' patience and understanding.

LITTLE ROCK – The City of Little Rock Public Works Department has temporarily suspended yard waste collections effective today, Wednesday, Dec. 6, because of a lack of trucks and available personnel to cover yard waste pick-up in addition to garbage routes. Trash pickup will continue as scheduled during the suspension of yard waste collection.
Yard waste collection will resume as soon as possible. The City will update residents when normal service returns and will provide notice of when delayed routes will be covered.
