UCP Stuffs Candy Bags Thursday for BOO AT THE ZOO

 

Who:                           United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas (UCP) and the Little Rock Zoo

What:                          Workers with the United Cerebral Palsy’s CP Buttons, a division of UCP Enterprises, will bag candy for Boo at the Zoo at the UCP headquarters in preparation for the last weekend of Boo at the Zoo October 26-31, 2012. 

Where:                        UCP Headquarters at 10400 W. 36th St in Little Rock

 

When:                         10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 25, and by media request

 

Visuals:                       UCP adults stuffing bags with candy and toys for Boo at the Zoo trick-or-treaters; tens of thousands of individually wrapped pieces of candy and small toys in large boxes

 

Background:               The Little Rock Zoo has contracted with UCP’s CP Buttons to bag more than 700,000 individually wrapped pieces of candy or small toys into 60,000 individual candy bags for distribution during its Boo at the Zoo trick-or-treat Halloween event October 26-31, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  This year, Boo at the Zoo features both a candy and non-candy option.
