Just before 3 p.m. on February 26, 2023, Little Rock Police Officers responded to 11700 Interstate 30 in reference to a subject down call for service. When officers arrived, they spoke with Danny Hill, who stated he noticed a black male in the front seat of a Chevy Tahoe.  Officers secured the scene and detectives with the Major Crimes Division responded as well as the Crime Scene Search Unit. The Pulaski County Coroner was notified and transported the body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy and positive identification. A firearm was discovered in the vehicle and found not to be stolen. The vehicle was towed to the city impound. The Medical Examiner deemed the death due to natural causes and the victim was later identified as 49-year-old Alvin Terry of Little Rock. Officers also spoke with Wade Pilkington, the employer of the deceased, who stated they looking for Mr. Terry since November of 2022. Mr. Pilkington also told detectives Mr. Terry was not in the best health. Next of kin was notified.
