WHAT:            Little Rock Public Works will commence construction around July 21, 2016, on a new roundabout intersection at the intersection of Zoo Drive with Fair Park Boulevard. Construction is expected to last approximately 4 months.

Fair Park and Zoo Drive are planned to remain open to through traffic for much of the construction project, however, there will be lane shifts through the construction zone and occasional brief detours. Motorists should expect delays and exercise caution when driving through the work zone.

Where possible, motorists are encouraged to use other routes through the area including University Avenue, Jonesboro Drive, and Pine/Cedar streets during construction. Updates to the project status will be issued as work progresses.

WHO:               Residents and motorists traveling in the area of Fair Park Boulevard between Interstate 630 and Markham Street including visitors to the Little Rock Zoo, War Memorial Stadium, and War Memorial Park.

WHERE:          Fair Park Boulevard between Interstate 630 and Markham Street, including Zoo Drive.
