Between Markham and 19th Streets
(Little Rock, AR—May 14, 2009) Little Rock Public Works Department reports temporary closure of lanes on University Avenue between Markham and 19th Streets as street resurfacing takes place.
Construction crews will begin resurfacing operations on University Ave (Markham to 19th Street) on Monday, May 18, 2009 weather permitting. Work will begin each morning at 7:00 a.m. and end at approximately 5:00 p.m. each day, and should be completed in approximately four (4) weeks.
T. L. Jumper, Civil Engineering Construction Manager stated: “Crews will resurface one lane at a time. Two lanes will remain opened during this process to allow motorists to pass through the area.”
