(Little Rock AR -- June 3, 2009) City of Little Rock Public Works Department reports temporary street closure of the 9500 Block of Johnson Road between Sardis & Heinke Roads. This closure will begin at 9:00a.m. Thursday June 4th through Friday June 5th.

This street closure is necessary for replacement of an underground storm drainage structure. A section of Johnson Road will be closed during the construction. City of Little Rock officials state local traffic on Johnson Road will be able to access their properties from the west via Sardis Road. Although through traffic between Sardis and Heinke will not be possible. Motorists traveling on Heinke Road can access Johnson Road from the west off of Sardis Road.

Motorists are advised to travel slowly across and through this area. The area will be barricaded until the project is complete. The required repairs are such that travelers through this location will experience delays and may want to seek alternate routes.”
