The closures are needed to complete the installation of a high-pressure gas line under the Arkansas River by Michels Pipeline Construction for Centerpoint Energy. This project is a part of the utility relocation necessary in preparation for the construction of the new Broadway Bridge by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation.
Originally scheduled for last week, the street closures were postponed due to drilling delays.
