Scott Hamilton Drive Widening

I-30 to 65^th Street      

WHAT:            Construction will commence this week on a project to reconstruct and widen a portion of Scott Hamilton Drive from I-30 to 65^th Street. Construction will take place in two phases beginning with the west half. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained during the reconstruction period, but the speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph during construction.

                          The roadway will be reconstructed to four lanes with underground storm drainage, curb, gutter and sidewalks on both sides of the new street.

                          Construction is scheduled to be completed late spring of 2015. Additional information on the progress of this project will be issued as needed.

WHO:               Motorists traveling in the area of Scott Hamilton (I-30 – 65^th Street)

WHEN:            May 30, 2014 to approximately late spring of 2015.
