(Tuesday, May 19, 2009) – Little Rock citizens are invited to the third public meeting to discuss the Citywide Preservation Plan for the City of Little Rock. It will take place on May 27 at the Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, located at 3801 West 12th Street.  The meeting will start at 6:00pm.

According to Brian Minyard of the City’s Planning and Development Department, “At this meeting, the public will get the chance to see the complete draft of the Citywide Preservation Plan.”

“The Citywide Preservation Plan, with public input, will provide clear goals and direction for future preservation efforts,” Minyard noted. “The state of historic preservation efforts in the City will be assessed and a consensus will be developed to focus on goals and strategies for the future.”
