LITTLE ROCK – Beginning Wednesday, January 29, 2014, Scott Hamilton Drive will be closed to through traffic between Interstate 30 and Baseline Road and will remain closed until Wednesday, February 19, 2014 to allow replacement and reconstruction of waterlines in conjunction with the Scott Hamilton Road Improvement Project.

Work will occur at the following locations, one at a time:

• Scott Hamilton Drive at Harper Road.
• Scott Hamilton Drive at Avery Road.
• Scott Hamilton Drive at J. E. Davis Drive.

Local traffic will be permitted up to but not through the work areas from Baseline Road and from the Interstate 30 Service Roads.  Message boards will be placed in advance of the detour routes at Baseline Road and Scott Hamilton Road and at Interstate 30 and the Service Roads.

Detour signing will be installed along alternate routes to assist motorists.
