At 6:43 a.m. on Monday November 7, 2022, Little Rock Police Officers responded to a subject down call for service in the 4710 Sam Peck. When officers arrived, they found an adult black male victim lying on the ground of the apartment complex. Officers noticed several spent casings on the ground around the victim. The victim appeared to have suffered from an apparent gunshot wound.  MEMS responded but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Pulaski County Coroner responded and transported his body of the unknown victim to the Arkansas State Crime Lab and the next of kin notification is pending.

Homicide Detectives and the Crime Scene Search Unit responded to the scene and began a preliminary investigation after canvassing the area for surveillance and spoke to witnesses. As the investigation continues, we urge anyone in the community with information to contact detectives at 501-371-4660 or contact us anonymously by calling 501-371-INFO (4636).
