The Little Rock Commission on Children, Youth and Families has agreed to host a meeting with the current PIT-funded programs to gain information on the following questions from the Youth Master Plan Advisory Committee.

The Youth Master Plan Advisory Committee is considering the following areas for assessing participant outcomes: 1) social and emotional learning 2) academic skills 3) health, wellness and safety 4) career and work readiness 5) parental/community involvement.

  • What services/activities/opportunities do you provide that fit within these five areas?
  • How are you currently tracking participant progress as a result of the services/activities/opportunities you are providing?
  • What is the best way to track and show results of a program? From your experience, how do you show that participants are being impacted by your program?
  • What suggestions do you have for making the proposed outcomes areas stronger and more relevant to your daily work?
  • What else should the Youth Master Plan Advisory Committee consider when thinking about outcomes for City-funded programs?

NOTE: The Commission will meet at 11:30 a.m. over lunch for the business portion of the CYF meeting.
