Concerning Storm Drainage System Improvements
East 23rd Street (22nd Street – 23rd Street)
WHAT: A public meeting will be held to discuss plans to reconstruct the drainage system along East 23rd Street from (22nd – 23rd Streets). The meeting will be held at the Dunbar Community Center located at 1001 West 16th Street, Little Rock, AR on Monday, October 7, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The project will include installing a drainage pipe to convey storm water runoff along the current drainage path that flows from Pettaway Park south into an open ditch. Currently storm water in the park flows south into an open ditch between 22nd Street and East 23rd Street which is causing flooding to properties and homes on East 23rd Street.
Representatives from Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the Project Engineer will be present to discuss the project and to receive public input.
