NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Concerning Storm Drainage System Improvements

East 23^rd Street (22^nd Street – 23^rd Street)

WHAT:             A public meeting will be held to discuss plans to reconstruct the drainage system along East 23^rd Street from (22^nd – 23^rd Streets).  The meeting will be held at the Dunbar Community Center located at 1001 West 16^th Street, Little Rock, AR on Monday, October 7, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The project will include installing a drainage pipe to convey storm water runoff along the current drainage path that flows from Pettaway Park south into an open ditch. Currently storm water in the park flows south into an open ditch between 22^nd Street and East 23^rd Street which is causing flooding to properties and homes on East 23^rd Street.

Representatives from Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the Project Engineer will be present to discuss the project and to receive public input.
