Nationwide search underway for new Little Rock Police Chief

LITTLE ROCK (Nov. 13, 2018) – The City of Little Rock has opened a nationwide search for Chief of Police that will close at midnight on Dec. 31, City Manager Bruce T. Moore announced Tuesday.
Interested applicants can find more information at LittleRock.gov.
Chief Kenton Buckner’s last day is Friday, Moore said. Buckner had been named chief of the Syracuse New York Police Department and has led the Little Rock Police Department since June 2014 after spending more than 20 years at the Louisville Metro Police Department in Louisville, Ky.
