Museum of Discovery Announces Opening of Register Now for 9th Annual Dino Dash & Discovery Fest

Registration is underway for the Museum of Discovery’s 9th annual Dino Dash and Discovery Fest, Saturday, May 31 in the River Market District.

Dino Dash is a 5K walk/run for ages 5 years and older and a 1K Family Fun Run for all ages. After Dino Dash, visitors can enjoy Discovery Fest. Discovery Fest will be held from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and features food, games, face painting, dinosaur crafts and more.

§ Registration Fees: $15/per person for team registration (by May 3), $20/individual registration (before May 3), $25/ individual registration after May 3),

§ 5K begins at 8:00 a.m., 1K begins at 9:00 a.m. Both races being and end in the River Market District at 500 President Clinton Avenue.

§ Medals are awarded to top finishers in 5K age groups and all 1K participants age 1-10 receive a medal and dino prize.

§ All race registrants receive a 2008 Dino Dash t-shirt, runner’s bag and free admission to the Museum of Discovery on race day.

Dino Dash is expected to attract over 750 runners. Proceeds benefit the educational and outreach programs at the Museum of Discovery.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM
Founded in 1927, The Museum of Discovery is Little Rock’s oldest museum. It remains a fixture of the River Market District in Downtown Little Rock attracting visitors of all ages. With over 25,000 square feet of hands-on, interactive exhibits, the Museum is a family destination “where you have worlds to discover.”
