LITTLE ROCK – Candidates seeking municipal office in the City of Little Rock may now pick up election packets. They are available online or in person at Little Rock City Hall, 500 W. Markham St.

The packets include required forms and a petition to be submitted to file as a candidate for office. The packets also include information about the age and residency requirements for municipal positions, as well as information about applicable state and municipal election laws.

The filing period for returning completed packets to the City Clerk’s Office begins July 31 and ends at noon Aug. 7. Completed materials must be returned in person to the City Clerk's Office at City Hall.

Municipal positions will appear on the General Election ballot in November. They include: Little Rock Board of Directors Ward 4 positions and At-Large Positions 8, 9 and 10. Each position is elected to a four-year term.
