The most recent project is the construction of an additional 3,500 linear feet to a 12-foot-wide asphalt trail, with improvements to drainage, open space, fishing pier, fishing kiosk, and the War Memorial pond dam. These additional improvements create another recreational opportunity with better access and interpretation of Coleman Creek while linking several aspects of the park together for all to enjoy.
Funding for this project was made possible by a $250,000 General Improvement Fund grant from the State of Arkansas via the War Memorial Stadium Commission.
