LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 12, 2014) – The Natural Steps Sports Complex represents a $1.1 million investment by the City of Little Rock. The complex will provide west Little Rock residents convenient access to athletic fields and supporting amenities. Construction on the project began in early 2014 and fields were completed in September. Three of the fields are designated for soccer and two for lacrosse youth league play. The project represents a new collaborative effort between the City of Little Rock and local sports leagues, by partnering with Arkansas United Soccer Club and Little Rock Lacrosse League on the maintenance and scheduling of the fields.
The complex has the capacity to expand to an eight-field complex with the other amenities such as pavilions, restrooms, fishing, trails and picnic areas.
