LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 1, 2015) – City Manager Bruce Moore will host a kick-off event this week to recognize April as National Donate Life Month and to launch its newly formed Workplace Partnership with the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency (ARORA).
The Workplace Partnership is a nationwide initiative sponsored locally by ARORA. Through this program, ARORA supports local businesses in their efforts to educate their employees about organ, tissue and eye donation and to register as donors.
The mission of ARORA is to provide life-saving organs and tissue for transplant and to educate Arkansans about the importance of donation. The City of Little Rock is committed to supporting each City employee’s efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of many people by registering to become an organ, tissue and eye donor.
