LITTLE ROCK, Ark.  –  The City of Little Rock, along with North Little Rock and Jacksonville, will host the National Community Development Association Southwest Regional Conference from Oct. 26-30, 2015. 

The conference will have attendees from federal, state, and local government agencies that administer federal programs addressing community development and affordable housing. Region VI Southwest represents local governments in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas.

NCDA is a national nonprofit organization that represents more than 300 cities and counties administering programs of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant, and HOME Investment Partnerships. Many of the organization’s members also administer Section 108 loans, Continuum of Care funding, Emergency Solutions Grants program, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), and Lead Hazard Reduction funding.

NCDA is committed to assisting local governments achieve high-quality, locally responsive programs that make communities better places to live, particularly for low- and moderate-income people.
