Lung Force Kickoff Breakfast Reception

Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola will join medical professionals to speak about new research in the fight to find a cure for lung cancer. Lung Force week will begin with a breakfast reception in Little Rock’s City Hall Rotunda at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

The Lung Force movement works to change people’s minds about what it means to have lung cancer in an effort to raise awareness about risks associated with the disease. This is particularly important for women. The lung cancer death rate in women has more than doubled over the past 35 years.

Mayor Stodola will read a proclamation this morning for Lung Force Turquoise Takeover Week.
