What: Fire Safety Town Hall Meetings
When: Tonight, May 3, 2011 and Thursday, May 5, 2011
Where: Dunbar Community Center – 1000 W. 6th St., Pulaski Academy – 12301 Hinson Rd. and the Southwest Community Center – 6401 Baseline

The Little Rock Fire Department will hold three town hall meetings this week to discuss fire safety for seniors. The first meeting will be at the Dunbar Community Center from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. followed by another meeting at Pulaski Academy from 7:15 – 8:00 p.m. The third town hall meeting will be held Thursday, at the Southwest Community Center from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m.

The town hall meetings provide an opportunity to connect with the citizens of Little Rock to address any concerns about their fire safety. LRFD provides fire safety tips and will answer any questions they may have. The main topic for this quarterly meeting will be safety for senior citizens. Fire Fighters offer basis fire safety tips and discuss other fire and safety related issues. These informal meetings allow the LRFD to provide fire safety awareness and ask questions that might allow us to better serve the community.
