(Friday, January 30, 2009) – The Little Rock Animal Village is hosting an animal photo contest, Saturday, February 14th at the Little Rock Animal Village.

According to Little Rock Animal Services Manager Tracy Roark, “Anyone is welcome to enter the ‘Who's Cuter Than Cupid’ contest by submitting the cutest photo of your dog or cat.”

The rules for the "Who's Cuter Than Cupid" Valentine Contest are that the photo must be 3x5 in size and the owner’s name & phone number must be printed on the back of the photo. The photos can be in color or black and white. Photos will not be returned and will become the property of the Little Rock Animal Village.

All photos will be attached to a Valentine Heart and displayed at the Animal Village for the Little Rock Animal Village Valentine Party which is set for February 14. Winners will be chosen by the Animal Village Planning Committee and selection will take place at 2:00pm on the 14th.

First and Second place winners will receive a Memorial Brick with their dogs name placed in our sidewalk.

The entry deadline for submitting photo is Friday, February 13, 2009, at 4:00 pm. They may be mailed to the Animal Village at 4500 Kramer Street, Little Rock, AR 72204, or dropped off in person.

Roark concluded, “Everyone is welcome to come have a Valentine cookie and view all of the entries. Of course, while you're here, you must tour the Little Rock Animal Village and visit our wonderful animals.”
