Cherished lessons:  Honoring the legacy of outstanding African American educators


LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS – The City of Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission will host their annual Black History Month program Thursday, February 27 at 11:30 a.m. This year’s program will feature posthumous tributes to African American educators Charlotte Andrew Stephens and Sue Cowan Williams.

 

WHO:  City of Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission

 

WHAT:  Black History Month program honoring the legacy of African American educators in Little Rock. The program will include musical selections, dramatizations and personal stories from students recognizing outstanding teachers. Refreshments will be served.

 

WHERE:  Rotunda of Little Rock City Hall located at 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, AR

 

WHEN:  Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
