LITTLE ROCK, AR (January 30, 2006) - On your Mark. Get Set. Sign up. Athletes have until midnight Wednesday, January 1 to take advantage of the early registration discount for the fourth annual Little Rock Marathon (and companion races), presented by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, to be held Sunday, March 5, 2006.

Early registration fees for all races will end midnight, February 1. Online entries must be completed by midnight, February 1 and mail registrations must be postmarked by February 1 to take advantage of the discounted prices.

Entry fees are as follows: $65 for the marathon, $45 for the half marathon, $35 (per person) for the relay marathon, $20 for the 5K, and $10 for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon. After February 1, fees will be $75 for the marathon, $55 for the half marathon, $45 (per person) for the relay marathon, $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon.

Race organizers anticipate more than 8,000 participants on race day and anticipate closing registration due to field maximums being achieved.
