Streets Closed on Race Course Create a Safe and Efficient Environment for Runners and Spectators
“These closures provide a safe environment for runners and spectators, as well as the least amount of inconvenience to residents and businesses in our community,” said Gina Marchese Pharis, Co-Executive Director of the Little Rock Marathon. “We appreciate the support from everyone who makes this epic event possible.”
The following times and locations for street closures are listed below:
Thursday, February 27, 2014
7 am – 9 pm Right Lane Closure La Harpe Blvd from State St. to Convention Center
Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 3, 2014
7:00 am – 9:00 am President Clinton from River Market Ave to Ferry St.
Saturday, March 1, 2014 - Closure
5:00 am La Harpe WB from Cumberland/President Clinton to Cross
5:00 am President Clinton at Cumberland to include Rock, River Market St., Sherman & Ferry all at 2nd St
5:00 am 2nd & Cumberland (Close I-30 off ramp and Detour to 2nd St Ramp)
5:00 am Close off ramp from Broadway Bridge to La Harpe WB
5:00 am EB La Harpe at State
5:00 am La Harpe at Cross EB Detour to Cross St.
6:00 am 3rd at Broadway, close NB lane East side (5K is turning N on Broadway at 3rd) Right lane closure

Roads open up as participants go through the course. The entire course should be open for traffic at approximately 3 pm.
