Kanis Road Widening

(Shackleford Road to Bowman Road)

(Bowman Road to Gamble Road)

 

 

WHAT:            A public meeting will be held to discuss plans for roadway improvements along Kanis Road from Shackleford Road to Bowman Road and Kanis Road from Bowman Road to Gamble Road. The meeting will be held at the Centre’ at University Park located at 6401 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, AR on Monday, June 16, 2014 beginning at 5:30 p.m. This project is located in Ward 5 and Ward 6.

                          Kanis (Shackleford Road – Bowman Road) will be widened to five lane section with turn lanes at major intersections including curb, gutter, underground drainage system and sidewalks.

Kanis (Bowman Road – Gamble Road) will be widened to three lane section with turn lanes at major intersections including curb, gutter, underground drainage system and sidewalks.

 

Representatives from Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the Project Engineer will be present to discuss the project and to receive public input.
