LITTLE ROCK – The Little Rock Animal Village will host a cat neutering clinic on Friday, May 3. Little Rock residents may sign up to have their cats neutered free of charge on that day.
Appointments are open for all Little Rock residents who have pet male cats. Proof of residency will be required. The clinic is an effort to mitigate and prevent an overpopulation of cats in the City. Cats must be healthy, at least 8 weeks old, and weigh at least two pounds.
The free clinic is sponsored by the Animal Village, the Humane Society of Saline County and Friends of the Animal Village.
Pet owners must first register at this link and drop off their male cats between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday at the Little Rock Animal Village, 4500 Kramer St.
In addition to neutering services, all cats will receive a free microchip. For pet owners who need to purchase vaccinations, those will be available for $15 per vaccine.
