Southwest Patrol officers responded to a vehicle vs. motorcycle collision at 9400 Stagecoach Road on Monday, January 16, 2023. When they arrived, the discovered the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were lying on the ground unresponsive. The driver of the motorcycle, 34-year-old Mark Hudson of Little Rock, was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. The passenger, 22-year-old Haven Hughes of Little Rock, was pronounced dead at the scene by MEMS. The driver of the second vehicle, 46-year-old Chandria Stigall of Little Rock, was later transported to the 12^th Street Substation where she provided a urine sample for toxicology testing in accordance with State Law. 

Accident Reconstruction Officers were called and responded to process the scene and take photographs, collect evidence, and take measurements. Witnesses were located and interviewed. At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing and next of kin was notified.

#Update: On February 7, 2024, The driver in the above incident, 47-year-old Chandria Stigall, was taken into custody and charged with Negligent Homicide.
