Southwest Patrol officers responded to a ‘subject down’ call for service near 10000 Colonel Glenn Road. When they arrived, they were advised by a utility worker there was an unresponsive black male in a nearby ditch. Officers located the deceased victim, later identified as 36-year-old Johnny Butts. The body was later transported to the Arkansas State Crime lab for autopsy and next of kin was notified. Patrol supervisors responded and notified the reconstruction unit who responded to process the scene and take photographs, collect evidence, and take measurements. At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing.
