Emergency Shelter to Remain Open; Trash Collection to Resume

LITTLE ROCK – City of Little Rock facilities will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 2, due to inclement weather.

The emergency shelter at Dunbar Community Center operated by The Van will remain open tonight and into Thursday morning. Dunbar Community Center is located at 1001 W. 16th St. For transportation to the emergency shelter, call (501) 955-3444.

Municipal garbage collections will resume at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Feb. 2, barring any adverse conditions from overnight weather. Little Rock Public Works crews will start on Tuesday routes and work as quickly as possible to return to a normal schedule, including working on Saturday, Feb. 4.
