WHAT:                    A memorial bench in honor of Eugene Ellison will be dedicated during a ceremony in MacArthur Park.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A memorial bench in honor of Eugene Edward Ellison will be dedicated during a ceremony in MacArthur Park on Friday, Nov. 4. 

The bench will serve as a permanent and lasting tribute to the life of Ellison. Ellison’s sons, Troy and Spencer, worked with the city manager to select the location for the bench, which includes a plaque with an inscription called “The Mark of the Educated Man.”
