On Friday December 2, 2022, 12^th Street Patrol Officers with the Little Rock Police Department responded to an accident in the 1000 block of East Roosevelt involving a vehicle vs. pedestrian. MEMS responded and transported the pedestrian to an area hospital for medical treatment; however, the victim later succumbed to injuries.

Accident Reconstruction Officers were called along with the Crime Scene Search Unit to take photographs, collect evidence, interview witnesses, and take measurements. At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing and next of kin has not been notified.
