(Thursday, March 27, 2008) – The Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatic Center will be closed on Saturday, March 29 for maintenance repairs and new equipment installation.

According to facility manager Charles Humphrey, “A new water heating system is being installed. In order to do this, the water to the facility must be turned off for 10 to 12 hours. We apologize for this one day inconvenience. But the new system will allow us to provide even better service to our patrons and the Citizens of Little Rock.”

The City of Little Rock’s Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatic Center is scheduled to reopen on Sunday, March 30, at 1:00 pm.

With an annual attendance of over 200,000, the Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatic Center has become one of the City's most popular fitness facilities. Designed with the "fitness for life" concept, the Dailey Center is committed to offering a variety of quality and affordable programs and activities which will enhance the body and mind and serve as incentives to life-long fitness.
