LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Jan. 29, 2016) – The Capital City Crime Prevention Task Force will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center.

Richard Davis, director of the Arkansas State Fusion Center, will join Arkansas State Police Director Col. Bill Bryant to discuss the capabilities and role of the center in Arkansas. 

The center is one of dozens throughout the country that work with law enforcement and other local entities to increase information sharing among agencies and assist in the response to crime and terrorism. The Arkansas State Fusion Center, located at the Arkansas State Police headquarters, opened in 2009.

The Capital City Crime Prevention Task Force, which is composed of criminal justice professionals from the community as well as local leaders, meets monthly to discuss issues related to crime prevention.
