LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 18, 2016) – The Consolidated Planning meeting set for Monday, July 18, at the Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center has been rescheduled for July 28 because storms knocked out power to the building, which affected the HVAC system.

The public meeting times are as follows:

• 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21 Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road                                             
• 6 – 7 p.m. Monday, July 25 West Central Neighborhood Resource Center, 4200 John Barrow Road, Suite C 
• 6- 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28 Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 West 12th Street
• 6 – 7 p.m. Monday, August 1 Wright Avenue Neighborhood Resource Center, 1813 Wright Avenue         

The 2017 Action Plan will outline funding and programming to be accomplished through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Programs. The City of Little Rock receives CDBG, HOME, and HOPWA funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). 

Neighborhood planning meetings will be held throughout the City with the purpose of hearing concerns and needs for funding as it relates to community development and housing in the City of Little Rock.  The Consolidated Planning Committee will prioritize community needs and prepare a funding recommendation for consideration by the Little Rock Board of Directors.  The neighborhood meetings will be held at the following locations.
