LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Feb. 25, 2015)-- The City of Little Rock will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 25 due to potential hazardous driving conditions. Designated essential and public safety personnel will report to work as scheduled.

At 9 a.m., Public Works crews switched to treating primary snow routes due to increasing chances of precipitation. Since 5 a.m., crews have been treating bridges, overpasses and other known trouble spots. 

Due to this closure, Little Rock Traffic Court will reschedule all Feb. 25 appointments. Traffic Court will hold special appointments on Monday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 3 at 1 p.m. Any citizen with a Wednesday, Feb. 25 court date can attend either of those special appointment days. The City of Little Rock Traffic Court is located at 600 W. Markham St.

The legislative reception hosted by the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Conventions and Visitors Bureau was also canceled. Members of the Little Rock Board of Directors were expected to attend this reception.
