City announces 14 appointments to Boards and Commissions

L. Lamor WilliamsOn Tuesday during the regularly scheduled meeting, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors ratified fourteen (14) appointments made by Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., to various volunteer boards and commissions.
The appointments are as follows:
- Americans With Disabilities Act Citizen Grievance Committee:
- Stephanie Martin, appointed to serve her first four-year Service Provider term, said term to expire on July 6, 2023.
- Animal Services Advisory Board:
- Laura Gocio, appointed to serve her first three-year Ward 3 Representative term, said term to expire on October 19, 2021.
- Arts And Culture Commission:
- Charles Cliett, appointed to serve his first three-year Cultural Institution term, said term to expire on April 2, 2022.
- Leron McAdoo, appointed to serve his first three-year At-Large term, said term to expire on April 2, 2022.
- Crystal Mercer, appointed to serve her first three-year At-Large term, said term to expire on April 2, 2022.
- Board Of Adjustment:
- Joe Justus, appointed to serve his first three-year term, said term to expire on February 19, 2022.
- Civil Service Commission:
- Maxine Allen, appointed to serve her first six-year term, said term to expire on April 1, 2025.
- Cara Boyd-Connors, appointed to serve her first six-year term, said term to expire on April 1, 2025.
- Paula Gray Stitz, reappointed to serve her second six-year term, said term to expire on April 1, 2025.
- Midtown Redevelopment District No. 1 Advisory Board:
- Kirk Meyers, reappointed to serve his second three-year Residential Representative term, said term to expire on March 31, 2022.
- Shalonda Riley, appointed to serve her first three-year term, said term to expire on March 31, 2022.
- Racial & Cultural Diversity Commission:
- Westley Ashley, appointed to fill the unexpired At-Large term of Travis Rowan, said term to expire on March 31, 2021.
- Kiral Gunter, appointed to serve her first three-year Ward 2 Representative term, said term to expire on March 31, 2022.
- Hosea Long, appointed to serve his first three-year Ward 7 Representative term, said term to expire on March 31, 2022.
