BEN THIELEMIER HIRED AS CITY OF LITTLE ROCK COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING MANGER

LITTLE ROCK – Ben Thielemier has been hired as Communications and Marketing Manager for the City of Little Rock, City Manager Bruce T. Moore announced Wednesday.

Thielemier will lead the City’s public relations department, serving as the primary contact for the media. He will develop and implement communications and marketing plans for traditional and new media outlets as part of the City’s public engagement and outreach efforts.

“Ben brings valuable, professional experience in the field and has an established reputation in Little Rock,” said Moore. “He has created and executed communications strategies for a variety of governmental, non-profit, and corporate entities. Ben will be a great asset for the City.”

Thielemier comes to the City from a Little Rock-based public affairs firm where he worked with municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, social welfare organizations, and numerous other groups across Arkansas and the United States to design dozens of successful public communications efforts. He was an instrumental member of the successful Little Rock’s Future sales tax campaign and Keep Building Little Rock’s Future millage reauthorization campaign.

A graduate of Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, and Pocahontas High School in Northeast Arkansas, Thielemier was born and raised in the state and now lives in Little Rock.
