Arkansas Arts Center now booking Group Tours for World of the Pharaohs: Treasures or Egypt Revealed

The Arkansas Arts Center is now booking Group Tours for the monumental exhibition World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed, on view at the Arkansas Arts Center September 25, 2009, to July 5, 2010. Groups of 10 or more are required to make a Group Tour reservation prior to visiting World of the Pharaohs to receive the discounted group rate.
World of the Pharaohs explores the long-vanished world of ancient Egypt through art and artifacts that span over 3,000 years of dynastic history. More than 200 magnificent objects, including mummies, a majestic colossus of Ramses the Great, Egyptian art, jewelry, statues, sculptures and funerary artifacts, illustrate the life and art of ancient Egypt.
World of the Pharaohs is the largest exhibition to ever be held in Arkansas. The Arkansas Arts Center will extend its hours September 25, 2009, to July 5, 2010, to accommodate visitors to the exhibition. The show will be on view Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
All group tickets are timed and dated for entry. Group Tour tickets are $17 each, $5 off the regular admission price. A companion audio tour is available for $3 each with a group tour booking. All Group Tours must make a Group Tour reservation in advance by calling 501-372-4000 or e-mailing groupsales@arkarts.com.
In addition to reduced ticket pricing, groups enjoy free designated bus and motorcoach parking, local motorcoach services and convenient dining options at Best Impressions Restaurant, which is located in the Arkansas Arts Center.
Regular admission to World of the Pharaohs is $22 Adults; $20 Seniors (60+); $18 College Students with ID; $15 Military with ID; $14 Youth; and Free for Children 5 and under. A companion audio tour is available for $5.
