Arch Street & Second Street Closures

Arch Street (Markham St. to Third St.)

Second Street (Broadway St. – Arch St.)   

WHAT:            On Monday, July 7, 2014 beginning at 9:00 AM Arch Street between Markham Street and Third Street, as well as, Second Street between Broadway Street and Arch Street will be closed to through traffic until approximately, Monday, August 11, 2014 to allow the installation of a high pressure gas line under the Arkansas River by Michel’s Pipeline Construction for CenterPoint Energy. 

This project is a part of the utility relocation necessary in preparation for the construction of the new Broadway Bridge by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

  Barricades and detour signage will be installed to inform motorists of the closure.

WHO:               Motorists traveling in the Arch Street (Markham St. – Third St.) and Second Street (Broadway St. – Arch St.) area.

WHEN:            Beginning at 9:00 AM Monday, July 7, 2014 through approximately August 11, 2014.
