Little Rock Police Officers with the Northwest Division responded to a 'shots fired' call for service on Thursday November 10, 2022, at 13500 Chenal Parkway. When they arrived, a witness confirmed a vehicle drove into the lake located on the property of the apartment complex. Officers secured the scene and notified the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and requested water patrol to assist. A short time later a vehicle was pulled from the lake with one deceased male inside, later identified as Roy King of Jacksonville, AR. Mr. King was pronounced dead at the scene. The Pulaski County Coroner responded and transported the body of Mr. King to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Homicide Detectives and the Crime Scene Search Unit responded to the scene and began a preliminary investigation after canvassing the area and speaking to witnesses. As the investigation continues, we urge anyone in the community with information to contact detectives at 501-371-4660 or contact us anonymously by calling 501-371-INFO (4636).
