Participants in Little Rock Parks and Recreation Therapeutic Recreation celebrated the coming Christmas holiday early with a very merry week, taking a field trip as well as decorating the Parks and Recreation offices at City Hall.

On Tuesday, participants in the Adult Branch Out Program went Christmas shopping at Park Plaza Mall. Often, they rely on the close supervision of a parent, family member or caretaker; this event gave them an opportunity to shop for everyone on their list independently. 

On Wednesday, the group decked the halls with wreaths and decorated a tree, delivering Christmas spirit to all.

Both activities have become annual events for the Adult Branch Out Program.
