What: A Work of Art 2013 Jazz Week Kicks Off

When: July 29, 2013- 12:00 p.m.

Where: City Hall Rotunda

The City of Little Rock will host the first concert for the Art Porter Music Education’s 2013 Jazz Week. Young musicians will take center stage in the City Hall Rotunda on Monday, July 29^th at noon.

This year’s Jazz Week includes:

• Jazz on the Plaza at the Metropolitan Bank Plaza on Tuesday, July 30^th at noon – this is a free event
• Walter Beasley and Eric Struthers at Cajun’s Wharf on Wednesday July 31^st at 7:00 p.m.
• Martha Burks at Club Sway on Thursday, August 1^st at 7:30 p.m.
• Porter Players at The Afterthought on Friday, August 2^nd – this is a free event
• Pieces of A Dream at the Metroplex Event Center on Saturday, August 3^rd at 8:00 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the APME scholarship program. Ticket information is available at www.ArtPorter.org or call (501) 492-9120.

The APME was created by friends and family of Little Rock natives - Art Porter Sr and Art Porter Jr – both amazingly talented musicians.
