On Thursday, February 1, 2024, LRPD Detectives requested members of the Homicide Unit along with CSSU personnel to respond the area of 2100 Security Avenue where a deceased body from apparent gunshot wounds was discovered in a white chevy impala at 12:19 p.m. The victim was 23-year-old Qwun’Don Marks of Pine Bluff. Officers secured the scene and an investigation began as detectives canvassed the area for witnesses and video surveillance. Later, the Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and next of kin was notified. This investigation is ongoing and occurred in the 12th Street Division.
